Pink gloves= lots of work done

Sent from my iPhoneWe didn't get any windows in, but that's because we decided to wrap the entire house first, instead of sections. We almost wrapped it all, but pooped out. It's 6:30 and still 105+ outside. Too hot for this girl!

Girls work too!

I have had the hardest time finding work gloves that fit, so finding cute ones was completely unheard of. Until tonight. Thanks to Home Depot, I now have cute girl gloves that fit me! Hooray! I can't wait to get to work tomorrow!

We are putting in windows, which will be nice, since it is the 37th day of 100+ weather so far this year here. Hopefully a cool front will come.

Still naked!

She's still naked! She has lost even more. No windows now, but new ones are coming.

So pretty

This was from the top of our front door.

She's naked!

I know it's been a while, but we've been very busy!  With the record setting heat and drought, we have still been working on the outside of the house (crazy, I know).

We realized that in order to put in new windows, we had to remove all of the old siding.  It was just in too bad of shape, and wasn't going to work.  So, with the help of Mom & Roger, we removed all of the old siding in a matter of days.

We have now almost completely removed all of the old windows and decked the house with the help of dad, and David (our very handy hired help).  We have found some great wood siding that is very close to the original that will look great up there!

I have found my treasure!

After looking for months, I have finally found my vanity for our master bathroom.  We basically had two rules: 1. must have 2 sinks, and 2. it must have a column of drawers in the middle.  We wanted something that was practical, but yet beautiful.

We wanted something that had the feel of an older piece of furniture.  Check it out!

We will put the sinks on each side.  It is hard to see in this photo, but there is highlights of silver on all of the woodwork.  It is absolutely breathtaking in the sunlight!  It also came with a mirror, which I can re-purpose and hang on the wall in another room.

Now all I have to do is find the perfect sinks for this beauty, and the faucets to go with it.  And, I need to decide how I want to protect the top.  Any suggestions?
